Daisy Chain at Wrekin Prep is a purpose-built nursery, situated within the grounds of
The nursery consists of 4 large base rooms, for each of the age groups - babies, toddlers, rising 3’s and pre-school.
Each of the beautiful rooms has direct access to its own outdoor play area. All of our rooms and gardens has been designed to offer the children a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where they may thrive.
We are fortunate to also have access to the Wrekin Prep facilities, including the hall for activities that require a large indoor space, the school grounds including the sports field, forest school and orchard, as well as the onsite swimming pool.
Educated
The nursery has also gained the ‘Hygge in the Early Years’ Accreditation which has assisted us to create warm, intentional spaces both physically and emotionally, that supports calm, focus, and creativity.
Some of our fantastic areas include:
mud kitchens to create some tasty treats, home corners (just like home), superb construction areas for our budding builders, wildlife and growing areas as well as areas to run, jump, balance and slide.
Whether snuggling for a story in our serene book corners or looking at the array of books in the school library our wonderful setting has something for everyone.
Loved
We have close links with the Wrekin Prep. The pre-school children join the lower school for joint celebrations through music, songs and performances as well as attending regular lower school assemblies.
Our pre-school children have developed close links with a local nursing home, where they visit the elderly residents monthly, it is heartwarming to see such wonderful friendships formed.
Whilst we hope that parents will choose the Wrekin Prep School as the next stage of their child’s development, there is no requirement to do so.
We do however offer priority places to children who have booked to attend Wrekin Prep, as well as for nursery and Wrekin Prep siblings.
