Engaged
Daisy Chain at Mytton Oak is a purpose built nursery, situated on the edge of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The nursery is approached via the service entrance to the hospital, in Mytton Oak Road and has designated drop off parking.
The setting has superb facilities including four main base rooms for each of the age groups. Each of our wonderful rooms has direct access to their own outdoor play area.
All of our rooms and gardens have been designed to offer the children a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where they may thrive.

Educated
The Catkins room is where our youngest babies are based, the space is calming with a neutral pallet and has a true home from home feel, with beautiful soft furnishings and wooden furniture.
The Acorns room is where our older babies play and explore. It includes a small role play area and cosy book corner and a wonderful array of beautiful toys and resources that are at child height to fully maximise opportunities to play and learn.
The rising three’s children are based in The Saplings room and love their room with authentic home corner, art station and curiosity area, as well as an awe-inspiring book den.

Loved
Our oldest children in The Oaks room learn effortlessly in their homely room, which provides ample resources to ensure readiness for school. Including home corner; with authentic resources, a literacy area and book corner as well as an arts and crafts station, with plentiful equipment for the children to create independently.
Some more of our fantastic areas include: Our stunning sensory room, which enriches senses, improves motor skills, and provides calm, The forest school area and mud kitchen to create some tasty treats, a construction area for our budding builders, wildlife and growing areas as well as areas to run, jump, balance and slide!
While our admissions policy gives priority to NHS staff we very much welcome non NHS families.
We are very proud of our outstanding nursery and have worked tirelessly to create warm, intentional spaces that support calm, focus, and curiosity.
Each child is unique
and deserves to be treated as such.
Some of the fun times we have.
Some lovely feedback from parents
Our greatest successes happen when we work hand in hand with parents. We are proud of every partnership we build
Behind every young child who believes in themselves is a parent who believed first
